Tell us about your early roots in your practice of choice
I had been dealing with several health issues and eventually took control by hiring a personal trainer. It took time and dedication, but I slowly got hooked on the idea of getting fitter, seeing results, and giving that feeling to others. What started out as a solution to a problem turned into a passion and lifestyle for me.
What inspires you in your practice?
I’m inspired by treating movement as a privilege. My motto is: we don't have to move, we get to move! I remind myself daily to celebrate movement in all ways.
What are valuable lessons learned from your training?
I’ve learned that more isn't always better and that listening to our bodies is an important part of wellness. There’s a time to push and a time to recover. I believe that knowing your limits is a sign of intelligence, not a weakness.
