PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Our signature series returns! Join us for season four of our outdoor group running program with weekly themed courses, warm-ups, runs, drills and cool-downs designed by expert coach John Honerkamp. It all leads up to a final team 5K or 10K team race (your choice!) at Governors Island on Sunday, May 19th.

OUR COACH

An expert in the field, John has over 20 years of experience coaching and is an accomplished professional athlete. As founder of The Run Collective, John is an expert on runner safety and established the first ever Runner Safety Awareness Week in January, 2019. John also famously coached Karlie Kloss for the 2017 NYC Marathon. For more on John check out his Website and Instagram.

SESSION FORMAT

  • 60 Minute Training Sessions
  • Warm Up, Running Drills, Cool Down
  • 2-5 Miles Per Class, Depending on Skill Level

  • 7:00 AM Start
  • Monday Sessions Begin, 4/8
  • Wednesday Sessions Begin, 4/10
  • Rise by We, 85 Broad Street, Lower Level

  • Week 6 – Race Simulation Intervals + Strength
  • Race Day – NYC Runs Summer Loving 5K & 10K

STRAVA APP INTEGRATION

Strava turns every iPhone and Android into a sophisticated running computer. This season, we’ll use Strava for Individual and Team Goal Setting, Mile Progression Tracking and Rise + Run Member and Community Connection. Instruction and integration will be explained in detail at our Week 1 Sessions.

Package One – 6 Sessions

  • 6 Sessions, One Class Per Week, Monday or Wednesday (your choice by week)
